Fish by tank size

Each hub below filters the library by the minimum tank size on each fish’s record. That number is a planning floor for the species, not the smallest tank a shop will sell you for it. Each hub also lists the fish that need more water than its volume, so you can see at a glance which species to avoid stocking at that size.

Open the hub for the tank you have, or the one you plan to buy. The list there is a shortlist, not a stocking plan. Pick three or four candidates that interest you. Run two of them through the pair checker, or the whole shortlist through the tank builder. A fish passing the minimum-volume rule is the easy half. Group size and compatibility decide the rest.
