Best livebearer for freshwater tanks
6 species in this category on Fishori. Open a profile for tank size, temperament, then run pair checks before mixing.
Livebearers (guppies, mollies, platies, swordtails) are the easy entry into aquarium fish: hardy, forgiving of water mistakes, and bright enough to look like marketing photos in a planted tank. They also breed. A mixed-sex pair of guppies in a 60L will become a tank full of guppies within four months. Stock single-sex if you do not want fry to manage, and remember that mollies and swordtails want hard alkaline water that fights with the soft acidic water classic tetras want.
